After a first half that had a few people unsure about watching the rest of the game, the Ohio State Buckeyes stormed to a victory over the Penn State Nittany Lions.
Throughout the 38-14 win, Jeremiah Smith led the receiving corps with two touchdowns, including a catch that could easily be named as the play of the game.
Inside the two-yard line, Smith jumped a few feet off the ground (yes, literally a few feet), and pulled the ball in with one hand, pushing past Penn State defenders to tack another six points on Ohio State's total.
The star wide receiver's snag immediately elicited incredible reactions out of everyone in attendance and a flocking to social media by everyone who was watching at home.

Smith finished the game with 123 receiving yards on six receptions, only trailing fellow wideout Carnell Tate, who had 124 yards on just five catches. Ohio State quarterback Julian Sayin earned 316 yards and four touchdowns, connecting with seven different targets.
At halftime, the Buckeyes had only earned a 17-14 lead over Penn State, but the second half led to 21 unanswered points for Ohio State, and the Nittany Lions simply couldn't move the ball down the field.
The win was yet another dominant performance by the OSU defense, which only gave up 200 total yards with 66 total tackles, seven tackles for loss, and four sacks. Linebacker Sonny Styles and defensive end Kenyatta Jackson Jr.
Simply put, behind Smith's artisanal performance, Sayin's consistency, and the defense's dominance, the Buckeyes only further cemented themselves as the No. 1 team in the country. Now, Ohio State is 8-0 overall and 5-0 in Big Ten play, with seven double-digit wins.
