The Ohio State football program continues to bask in the glory of being national champions. It's something that fans will get to enjoy all offseason long and next year as well. Still, the team has to figure out how to replace two assistant coaches before next year begins.
Ryan Day has to replace his defensive coordinator as well as his offensive line coach. Figuring out those two staff changes is the biggest challenge facing Day. No matter. Day has a different aura to him now that he is a national champion. You can feel things have changed in a big way for him.
Day went on a media tour right after winning the title, bringing the trophy with him everywhere he went. He went to visit with Jimmy Fallon and Kelly Clarkson and back to Columbus again for the championship celebration at the Shoe. He has shown a new side to his personality.

Day has even started posting on social media more this offseason now that he's a champion. He took to social media on Saturday morning to show how locked in he is with repeating as national champions next season as well.

It's clear that winning this national championship has lifted a massive burden off of his shoulders. He no longer has that pressure weighing him down. While he still has to prove that he can beat Michigan, winning the ultimate prize has bought him adulation across Buckeye Nation.
Day is using that newfound confidence and aura to reload the team on the recruiting trail. The Buckeyes have been busy since winning the title, making sure that they are getting into the homes of the best recruits in the country. The Buckeyes want to repeat as champions.
The hope is that the aggressiveness that this team played with in the College Football Playoff run will carry over into next season. That would give them the best chance to repeat as national champions. Hopefully, Day has seen the light and will continue to have his teams play that way offensively.
