Ohio State took care of business against Penn State on Saturday. It may not have happened exactly how fans would have imagined it to happen, but the job got done, and that is all that matters. After a slow start on offense in the first half, quarterback Julia Sayin really took charge and led the team to a great second half to secure a big victory over the Nittany Lions.

Even late into the game, when it was clear it was over and Ohio State was going to walk out of the stadium with the win, the Buckeyes were playing hard. The Buckeyes only had three possessions in the fourth quarter, and one of them resulted in the final touchdown of the game, a connection between Sayin and Jeremiah Smith.

The drive started with a huge 51-yard run by running back Bo Jackson to set the Buckeyes up on the Penn State 11-yard line. A beautiful pass and catch by Sayin to Smith resulted in Ohio State's fifth touchdown of the day, the fourth passing touchdown for Sayin.

Even late into the game, when it was well-known that the Buckeyes were going to win the game, head coach Rayn Day was seen celebrating the final touchdown like it had been a game-winning touchdown in the National Championship.

Some may wonder why a touchdown in garbage time would mean so much to Day, especially when the win was already well in hand, but it shows his support for his team no matter what. Sayin had an amazing day offensively for the Buckeyes, and this performance has almost certainly thrust him into the Heisman conversation, if not at least given him the lead.

Day's reaction is funny, though, and it is nice to see a head coach get so excited about touchdowns, even so late into the game.
