The Ohio State football team took on Western Michigan on Saturday in Week 2. After blowing out Akron, they were hoping to blow out a MAC team for the second straight week. That ended up happening as the Buckeyes won 56-0, getting their first shutout since 2019.

Ohio State is one of the few teams that looks completely dominant through two weeks. They don't seem like they have many holes on the roster. While the competition hasn't been strong so far, they have taken care of their games in a way that some other teams haven't so far this year.

When you win a game by 56 points, it's hard to say that too much went bad. Both sides of the ball looked very good for the Buckeyes. We give you two winners from this game and one loser because you can always improve in every game you play no matter what.

The first winner we have is a guy the Ohio State Buckeyes got from the transfer portal.

1. Quinshon Judkins

Quinshon Judkins came to the Buckeyes in the offseason from Ole Miss. He was a great back in his first two years in Oxford and was looking to be the same kind of back in Columbus for the Buckeyes. Week 1 did not go as planned for him against Akron though.

Judkins struggled against the Zips, running the ball 13 times for just 55 yards. That's just 4.2 yards per carry. He did end up getting in the end zone, but he didn't look very good. A lot of that was how poorly the offensive line played too. They had to be better against the Broncos.

Both Judkins and the offensive line were a lot better in Week 2. He had only nine carries this week but took those nine carries and turned them into 108 yards and two touchdowns. That stat line could have been even better if not for a phantom holding call that took away a long touchdown run.

Judkins is still clearly a good running back. He showed that he is still one of the best backs in the country even if he is a backup. I only expect Judkins to continue to get better as the year goes along and he gets more comfortable in Chip Kelly's offense.

Running the ball is going to be the most important part of this offense. He is going to be a big part of the offense all year long. I still think TreVeyon Henderson ends up with more rushing yards when the season is over, but Judkins still should clear 1,000 yards this season.

Our next winner isn't actually just one player, it's a whole unit.
