The Ohio State football program has a lot of all-time greats. There's a reason that no other program has more first-round picks than Ohio State. That is because they have some great players year in and year out and good coaches who can help develop those players.

Two Ohio State football legends now have a chance to be inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame. Both legends are on the ballot for the 2025 class. James Laurinaitis is one of them and was on the ballot last year too. Urban Meyer is the other one as a former Buckeye coach.

Lauriniatis is one of the best linebackers in program history. He played for a national championship in back-to-back seasons with the Buckeyes and put up some monster numbers. He is perhaps the most decorated linebacker that the Ohio State football program has ever had.

In his time in Columbus, he was named First-team All-Big Ten three straight seasons. He was also a Consensus All-American in 2006 and 2008 and a Unanimous All-American in 2007. Laurinaitis was a two-time Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year. He also won the Lott Trophy in 2008, the Butkus Award in 2007, and the Jack Lambert Trophy in back-to-back seasons.

Quite frankly, I'm shocked he's not in the College Football Hall of Fame already. The current linebacker coach was one of the best defensive players in college football history, not just one of the best linebackers. There's no reason he shouldn't make it in on this ballot.

Meyer is one of the most decorated coaches in college football history. He was a head coach at four different schools. Meyer coached at Bowling Green, Utah, Florida, and Ohio State. He won a lot of games in his coaching career, finishing with a 187-32 record. That's an 85.4% winning percentage.

Meyer is one of two FBS coaches in the history of the game to win national championships at different schools. He won a title in 2006 and 2008 with Florida and won it in 2014 with Ohio State. The other coach to win at multiple schools? Nick Saban, who is also on the ballot.

Forget what a disaster Meyer was in Jacksonville. He's a great college coach and should be in the College Football Hall of Fame. Both of these former Ohio State football legends should get in.
