Top receiver in the 2025 class says the Ohio State football program is a top choice

Andrew Marsh who is the No. 7 receiver in the 2025 class has decided to to visit the Ohio State football program for the first time sometime in late April. He is exploring the Buckeyes, as he should considering their track record of developing receiver talent.
The 6'1, 173 lb receiver plays at Katy Jordan in Fulshear, TX. In 2023 he caught 65 passes for 1,158 yards and 15 TDs as a junior. When he was a sophomore he was the Texas District 19-6A Newcomer of the Year. He's rated a four-star on On3, 247 Sports, ESPN, and Rivals.
He also competes in track and field, as a sophomore, ran 400-meter times of 50.50 and 50.56 in the Spring of 2023, and then in the Spring of 2022 he high jumped 6-2. That tells you that he's an athlete who has some explosion to his game, which is something Ohio State loves.
He currently has offers from Texas, USC, LSU, and Oklahoma. Ohio State will clearly be competing with some schools close to Marsh. But the addition of Marsh would help grow an already good receiver corp. Brian Hartline can land pretty close to any receiver he wants.
Ohio State currently has the fourth-ranked recruiting class in the country. That will go up within the next few weeks as the Buckeyes are expected to add some more commitments soon. They have the highest average rate among their recruits of any program right now.
We will have to wait and see how the visit goes next month. Surprisingly, the Buckeyes have just one receiver recruit so far in this class, and he's a three-star recruit. I would expect Hartline to be able to snag some higher-rated recruits before this class is completely signed next February.
