1. Lincoln Kienholz

There are five quarterbacks who are fighting for playing time. That's too many quarterbacks because only one gets to play at a time. Will Howard was brought in as the presumptive starter from the transfer portal. He played okay on Saturday, although he didn't have any brilliant plays.

One quarterback who played terribly was Lincoln Kienholz. He was by far the worst of the five quarterbacks to play. He threw two interceptions and had several balls under throws as well. It wasn't just bad ball placement that was worrisome. His timing was off as he was late with several balls.

This was the worst-case scenario for Kienholz. There have been rumors of his transfer, and that might be the best thing for him. On the FOX broadcast, Ryan Day was visibly and audibly upset with some of the decisions made by Kienholz. That's not a good sign for his future.

With four other quarterbacks performing better than him, it might be in his best interest to look at the portal. I still think he's a decent quarterback who can start for other programs. He just isn't as talented as the other QBs the Buckeyes have on their roster at the moment.

The portal opens on Monday and I'm sure we'll see a flurry of Buckeyes put their names in it as soon as it opens. It wouldn't be shocking to see Kienholz being one of those names. There is just too much traffic in front of him.

Our next loser is one of the starters on the right side of the offensive line.
