2. Jeremiah Smith

There hasn't been a freshman who has had as much hype as Jeremiah Smith in Ohio State football history. He has been described as the best receiver the Buckeyes have already. He's played just three games this season. Still, it's hard to argue with the production we've seen.

Through his first three games as a Buckeye, Smith has 14 catches for 281 yards and four touchdowns. The best part about his game is the ability to rack up yards after the catch. He's able to take a simple slant pattern and take it to the house, just as he did against the Thundering Herd.

With so many weapons to defend, it's going to be hard for Michigan State to keep them all under wraps. Smith could be one of the player who benefits from that. Even if they do try to drape him in double-coverage or bracketed coverage, he's still good enough to get open.

This will be the best defense that Smith has seen so far in his young career. While it will be interesting to see how he's able to handle that, I don't foresee it being a big problem. Smith is too good to be held down by an average defense. That's all the Spartans have right now.

I fully expect Smith to have another big game. While he may not have a 100-yard receiving game, he should score another touchdown. With his size, he's someone that the Buckeyes can go to in the red-zone too. He's a great weapon and a luxury for a loaded offense to have.

Our final player to watch is someone on the Michigan State side of things.
