3. The Ohio State football team will score 60+ points against Marshall

Ohio State isn't going to have an issue scoring points this season. Will Howard has proven that he can do enough to put his guys in a position to succeed. He doesn't have to be the hero and he knows that. His job is to not turn the ball over and to let his guys around him eat up the yards.

That philosophy will help this team score a ton of points. So far, the Buckeyes have scored 52 and 56 points in their games so far. Part of that was from the defense in the first game. It was all offense in the second game. It's clear that they got themselves going a bit quicker.

Marshall is a better team than both Akron and Western Michigan. So how is it possible that the Buckeyes will score more points than they have in both of those games against a better team? The reason for that is the offense will be even better than they were in either of the first two games.

Ohio State's operation on offense should be even better now that they had the bye week to work on some stuff. They are going to be able to come out swinging early and score a ton of points. I wouldn't be shocked if they scored 49 points in the first half while the starters are out there.

I fully expect this game to be a blowout from the start. Marshall's defense is not good enough to slow down the Buckeyes and their offense is strong enough to move it down the field on Ohio State's defense. Put that equation together and that equals a big loss for the Thundering Herd.
