The Ohio State football team's biggest rival could prove to be a fraud this week
By Ryan Stano
The Ohio State football team looks like the best team in the Big Ten through their first two games. They are dominant on both offense and defense. This week, Marshall comes to town and it doesn't look like that's going to cause the Buckeyes too much trouble.
Ohio State shouldn't have any issues moving to 3-0. Michigan, on the other hand, is in big trouble. They got shellacked by Texas two weeks ago and didn't even cover against Arkansas State. Things are so bad for them that they decided to make a quarterback change.
This week, TTUN takes on USC in the Big House. The Trojans actually look pretty good so far this year, including a win over LSU in Las Vegas. Alex Orji gets his first collegiate start in a do-or-die game. If Michigan loses this game, they could prove that they are frauds this year.
The Ohio State football team could destroy Michigan for good at the end of the season
If Michigan does lose this game this weekend, Ohio State has a shot to break them at the end of the year and prove that the only reason they won a national championship is because they cheated their way there. Of course, that game isn't for a couple more months.
Losing to USC would essentially take Michigan out of a chance to get an at-large for the CFP. The only way they would make it in that situation is by winning the Big Ten. The Ohio State Buckeyes could end their season in that final regular season game, which would be incredibly sweet.
After watching the Buckeyes win at noon, I will be watching Michigan lose to USC at 3:30 pm on CBS. It should be a good Saturday for watching college football this weekend. It's good to have the Buckeyes back.
