The Ohio State football team is trying to finish up their preparations for the upcoming season. They will take on Akron on Saturday afternoon in the season opener. Once that game hits, they can finally put a lot of the distractions of the offseason behind them.

One big distraction that has just come out is the new Connor Stalions documentary, Sign Stealer. In that doc, Stalions and Michigan continue to blame Ohio State for getting caught cheating. It's sad that they can't seem to accept responsibility for wrongdoing.

Ryan Day shouldn't be concerned with that documentary. In fact, he should just be concerned about Akron and how his new-look offense is going to perform. When asked if he was going to watch the new documentary on Netflix, Day was pretty clear in his answer.

Day simply stated, "No" when he was asked by the media if he would watch it. His answer was met with some laughs in the media room. He's the head coach of a major college football program and he's under a lot of pressure to perform this year. He's got bigger things to worry about.

Michigan has received their Notice of Allegations tied to this case and I'm sure they will take the full 90 days to respond. We don't know yet what kind of punishment they might receive from the NCAA, but it will be severe. It may not be severe enough in some Ohio State football fans' eyes.

Day and his team are ranked second in the preseason polls. They have their eyes set on The Game, a Big Ten Championship, and a national championship. All of the outside noise is just that; noise. This team needs to block it out and just perform on the field.
