The Ohio State football program has produced some fantastic wide receivers in its history. Terry Glenn, Cris Carter, Joey Galloway, and Ted Ginn Jr. are some from the last few decades. That's not even counting some of the ones who have come in under Ryan Day since he became an OC with the Buckeyes.

Chris Olave, Garrett Wilson, and Marvin Harrison Jr. have all become first-round picks under Day. Wilson won the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year in 2022 and Olave came in second. Harrison Jr. is hoping to win that award this year and keep it in the Buckeye family.

Harrison Jr. was the Buckeyes' best player a year ago. He was the best offensive weapon that they had and was a Heisman Finalist for a reason. Harrison Jr. seems to think that what he did is enough to be considered the best receiver in Ohio State football history.

Marvin Harrison Jr. claims he's the best receiver in Ohio State football history

Harrison Jr. thinks that his numbers are good enough for him to surpass all the rest of the Buckeye receivers. He said this while he was at a joint practice with the Indianapolis Colts before their preseason game on Saturday night. Take a look at the clip below.

Harrison Jr. thinks that his numbers are what gives him the edge, as well as the accolades that he was able to accrue. The Buckeyes have had a lot of great ones, including some he played with. Saying he's the best Ohio State receiver in history is quite a statement.

I don't think he's the best, but he's darn close. He's definitely a top two or three receiver in program history. If he'd had a better quarterback throwing to him last year, he'd have a better case to be the best ever. The only limitation put on him was his quarterback.
