The Ohio State football program has one of the most talented rosters in the country. Up and down the depth chart, there is someone who could be a starter for another program. It's one of the reasons why they are one of the favorites to win a national championship.

With a team full of so much talent, it can be difficult to figure out who might be starting at each position. Luckily for the Buckeyes, they return a ton of starters from last year's team. That makes it easy for us to determine who the startrs might be, especially on defense.

With it being close to Fall camp time, we take a look at the Ohio State football team's depth chart and predict the starters. There certainly are a few battles that still need to be determined, but we have a pretty good idea of who should start the year as the starters.

We'll start on the defensive side of the ball, where the Buckeyes might have the most talented squad of defenders in the country.

DE: JT. Tuimoloau, Jack Sawyer

DT: Tyleik Williams, Ty Hamilton

LB: Sonny Styles, Cody Simon

CB: Denzel Burke, Davison Igbinuson

Nickel: Jordan Hancock

Safety: Lathan Ransom, Caleb Downs

As you can see, most of those guys were starters last year. The biggest addition to the lineup is Downs, who might be the best safety in the country. Putting him at safety allows the Buckeyes to move Styles to linebacker. I think Simon starts next to him to start out, but C.J. Hicks could end up taking that spot soon.

At the very least, Hicks is going to see a ton of snaps even if he ends up not starting. The same can be said for some players on the defensive line. Caden Curry and Hero Kanu will see a significant numebr of snaps as well. Still, those four are the best so they'll see the most.

With the defense settled, we move on to the offense.
