Ohio State football vs. Western Michigan weather forecast
By Ryan Stano
The Ohio State football team is looking to build their momentum from winning their opening game against Akron in Week 1. They were able to have a great second half on both sides of the ball. Defensively, they were very good in both halves of this game.
Now they have to take on Western Michigan, a team that gave Wisconsin some trouble. The Buckeyes were able to get mostly good weather against the Zips. Rain was in the forecast for the game and it only briefly sprinkled. That was the only kind of weather that affected the game even slightly.
It was hot though and there were a few guys who were going down with cramps because of that. The only thing that can really derail Ohio State is if there is some bad weather. That could give the Broncos some hope that they can muck things up. How will the weather be in the Shoe on Saturday night?
Ohio State football vs. Western Michigan weather forecast
According to the Weather Channel, the weather is going to be absolutely perfect for this game. It won't even be too hot this time. It will be about 62 degrees and clear during kickoff, which is 7:30 pm. It will drop into the upper 50s throughout the course of the game.
The only thing that could potentially affect the game is the wind. The sustained wind won't be too bad, but it could gust from 15-20 mph. Ohio State still should be able to navigate that issue with the talent that they have on both sides of the ball.
This is the coolest the temperatures will be for an Ohio State football game until October when Fall really gets here. Right now, the temperatures are still very hot during the daytime. Their first few games are at home too, so they know what they are getting.
