The Ohio State football team takes on Western Michigan on Saturday night. It's the second straight game for them against a MAC team after the Buckeyes destroyed Akron last week in the season opener. It was a nice 52-6 win that gave the team some confidence.

Ohio State is hoping to show that they can start faster this game. They have been working all week to make sure that the offense is going to be able to score more than seven points on their first three drives. That's all they could muster against the Zips last week.

This isn't a game that the Buckeyes shouldn't have trouble with, at least not in terms of winning the game. Ohio State is clearly the superior team and has way more talent than the Broncos do. Still, Western Michigan gave Wisconsin some trouble last week.

Ohio State football vs. Western Michigan final odds and prediction

According to DraftKings, the Buckeyes are 37-point favorites over the Broncos. The over/under for the game sits at 54.5 as well. It's clear that the oddsmakers aren't giving Western Michigan much of a chance. I don't blame them either. This should be a bloodbath.

I fully expect Ohio State to dominate this game from start to finish. They have twice the talent that Western Michigan does on both sides of the ball. The offense should be able to start faster and the defense may not allow a touchdown for the second straight week.

I don't think Western Michigan will give Ohio State as much trouble as they gave the Badgers in Week 1. Ohio State should come out focused and ready to go from the get-go. Give me the Buckeyes 55-6 in this game. I think they really put up a statement to show just how good of a team they are.
