No. 2) Devin Brown leaves a lasting impression heading into the winter.

Devin Brown has a chance to prove he's the guy heading into the offseason. He has to be giddy about this opportunity that's been bestowed upon him following Kyle McCord's departure. And I believe we're going to be able to see what Brown can do in this game.

We all know about his ability to use his legs and it will be something to keep an eye on as this game unfolds. Brown was given a goal-line package by Ryan Day before his injury because he has some wiggle. But it's going to be the ability to keep plays alive with his legs that could prove valuable in this game. Whether it's by extending drives to pick up first downs with his legs or by keeping plays alive while looking downfield to pass, Brown will be exciting to watch for sure.

And I think we all could be surprised by his arm as well. Receivers have been glowing about his passing ability in the practices leading up to the Cotton Bowl. I think there is a real belief that Brown is just as good if not better than Kyle McCord in terms of throwing the ball. And I do believe that Day will give him every opportunity to do just that in this game

Look for Brown to produce a stat line of 18-27 passing for 315 yards and two touchdowns as he gives Ryan Day and Brian Hartline something to think about as the offseason starts on Saturday morning.
