The Ohio State football team is on a mission this season. They have the mentality that it's a national championship or bust kind of season. That's why so many people came back this season. The Buckeyes have a lot of seniors on this team who want to leave with a title.

If you want to win a national championship, you have to have a talented roster. That's exactly what the Ohio State Buckeyes have this season. The defense could be the best of any team in the country. That was reflected in the AP Preseason All-American votes too.

The AP All-American Preseason team has been revealed. No one has more preseason All-Americans than the Ohio State football team this year. They have four of them. Two of them are on the defensive side of the ball and two are on the offensive side of the ball.

Ohio State football team has four AP Preseason All-Americans

Denzel Burke is one of those on the list. He has a case to be named the top cornerback in the country. He returned to form last year after he had an injury-plagued sophomore campaign. Burke is healthy again and he's ready to show he can be a first-round pick.

The other defensive Preseason AP All-American is new safety Caleb Downs. Downs transferred in from Alabama during the offseason and comes into a secondary that was already the best in the country. Downs makes them even better.

On offense, Emeka Egbuka is one of the nominees. Egbuka was hurt most of last year and wasn't able to show off his full compliment of skills. His sprained ankle really hampered him. He's healthy now though and is looking to have a massive season in his final year as a Buckeye.

Donovan Jackson is the other pick on offense. This is the most surprising pick just because of how bad the offensive line was as a unit last year. Jackson was the lone bright spot at left guard and will once again be the best offensive lineman the Buckeyes have this year.

All of those are just First-team selections. TreVeyon Henderson and Tyleik Williams are Second-team selections.
