The Ohio State football team is going to be one of the best teams in the country this year. We know the defense is going to be stacked because they were elite last year and they only got better in the offseason. the offense should be improved thanks to some new additions as well.

Some preseason awards have already taken notice of how good the Buckeyes are going to be. Walter Camp has already released their list of Preseason All-Americans. No other program has as many Preseason All-Americans than the Ohio State football program.

Emeka Egbuka is one of those All-Americans. Egbuka returns after he had an injury-plagued season in 2023. he was never able to get his full legs under him because of an ankle sprain. If he's healthy this year, he'll be a First-team All-American and a first-round pick in next year's Draft.

Denzel Burke is also a Preseason All-American. Burke played at an elite level last year and is one of the big reasons why the pass defense was so good. They were the best pass defense in the country a season ago. Burke also should be a First-team All-American at the end of the year.

Tyleik Williams was also named a Preseason All-American. Williams has shown flashes of elite play and will start for the Buckeyes this year. He'll be even better this season up front at defensive tackle. He's a really solid player and is going to be one of the keys to the defense this year.

Two newcomers to the Buckeyes are also named by Walter Camp as Preseason All-Americans. Caleb Downs, the safety transfer from Alabama, is on the list. He might end the year as the best safety in the country as a sophomore if he improves on his play from last season.

Quinshon Judkins is also on the list. He will be the backup to TreVeyon Henderson but will still see a lot of snaps this season. He's going to be a game-changer on offense. Judkins is one of the reasons why this will be an improved offense from last year.
