Ohio State football's home-field ranking in EA Sports College Football 25 revealed
By Ryan Stano
The Ohio State football program prides itself on having one of the best home-field advantages in all of college football. The Shoe can fit over 105,000 fans. When there are that many fans in the stadium at one time, it gets extremely loud and disorienting for the other team.
Video games have done a good job of representing just how tough it is to play in Ohio Stadium. In the last version of the college football video game, the Buckeyes had one of the best home-field advantages in the game. If you played Dynasty mode, you could increase that as well.
EA Sports College Football 25 comes out in three weeks. They have revealed where the Buckeyes sit on their "toughest places to play" to start the game. The Buckeyes are in the top five, although they are not in the top spot according to EA Sports' developers. They will be coming out with more rankings all week.
The Ohio State football program will start at fourth overall. They are rated as the toughest school in the Big Ten to play at. They sit behind Texas A&M, Alabama, and LSU respectively. Having three SEC schools at the top of the list is certainly a choice, but it's their game.
The next Big Ten team on their list is Penn State's Beaver Stadium which comes in at 6th. If you played any previous versions of the college football video games, then you know that they only list the top 25. I can't wait to play a Dynasty with the Buckeyes and get that ranking to number one.
This is going to be a fun game to play for any fans of college football. Fans have been waiting a decade for this game to come back. Now that it's finally almost here, excitement has reached a fever pitch. I certainly know I'm excited for it.
