Ohio State Football: Buckeyes look loaded for 2024
The Ohio State football team is looking loaded for next season. With players like Emeka Egbuka, Denzel Burke, Jack Sawyer, Ty Hamilton, Tyleik Williams, Jordan Hancock, Donovan Jackson, and Lathan Ransom all set to return,Ohio State has to be seen as one of the top three or four teams in college football heading into 2024.
Not to mention the fact that Day and the Ohio State football coaching staff have hit some home runs in the transfer portal by getting Will Howard, Seth McLaughlin, and Quinshon Judkins. The more tape I watch of Howard, the more I believe he's going to thrive in this offense. Especially if TreVeyon Henderson announces that he could be back hopefully at some point soon.
Ryan Day is going about the offseason correctly so far. He's addressing some holes on the roster and he's getting most players who could head off to the NFL to buy in and believe that next season could be special. We still are holding out hope that this coaching staff continues to get some upgrades as there is currently one spot still open on the staff with Parker Fleming's departure.
Overall, it's been a very productive start to the offseason. With Alabama losing Nick Saban and Michigan and Washington losing just about every key player of their championship rosters, Ohio State is in as good of a spot as any team in the country to compete for a national title in 2024. And if somehow the Buckeyes can fix the offensive line woes, and McLaughlin is a big step in that direction, the Buckeyes should and would be looked at as the favorites in the Big Ten.

And with a favorable 2024 schedule, this Buckeye roster will have its chance to do something very special in 2024 if things continue to bounce the right way for Ohio State.
