Looking at the easiest and hardest game for the Ohio State football team

The Ohio State football team will finally play some football in just two week's time. It has been a long off-season. This team is looking to get the bad taste out of their mouth after losing to Michigan and getting embarrassed in the Cotton Bowl. They are gearing up for a big run.

This team has the best defense in the country and should have an improved offense from a year ago. There's really no reason that they shouldn't make the 12-team College Football Playoff. That doesn't mean that they don't have any hard games on their schedule.

With the season being so close, we take a look at both their easiest game and their hardest game and try to determine the outcomes. The easiest game could be a massive blowout while their hardest game could result in the Buckeyes taking a loss.

Taking a look at the Ohio State football team's easiest and hardest games

The easiest game for the Ohio State Buckeyes might be the second game they play against Western Michigan. Despite Akron probably being a worse team overall, I think the offense will be better in Week 2 after working out some bugs against the Zips. Ohio State could win that game by 60.

The hardest game is very easy to identify. It's at Oregon on October 12th. Of course, the Buckeyes still have to beat Michigan, so an argument could be made that's actually the hardest game. But if we're looking at just the talent of the other team, Oregon is by far a harder game.

Oregon presents the biggest challenge for the Buckeyes on the field. They are the team that has the best chance of handing the Buckeyes a loss. If I had to guess right now, I'd say the Bucks squeak it out 35-31, but there are a lof things that can change between now and then.
