The Ohio State football team has lost three straight games to Michigan. It's something that hasn't happened since the 1990s. Ryan Day knows that his team needs to break that streak with the roster that he has now. It's one of the big things holding them back from a national championship.

A lot of great players returned to Ohio State just to get a pair of gold pants. There's a whole class of Buckeyes who have never beaten TTUN. The class of 2021 has yet to get a win over Michigan. A former Michigan player made sure that the Buckeyes don't forget about it.

J.J. McCarthy made sure that Ohio State football fans haven't forgotten that fact despite how hyped up the Buckeyes are. They are one of the favorites to win the national championship. McCarthy took to Instagram to make sure that his message was seen by all.

J.J. McCarthy talks trash to Ohio State football players

McCarthy took a shot at Ohio State's entire team. Take a look at his post below.

First of all, his post is only accurate because Michigan canceled the game in 2020 because they were afraid of losing. Secondly, we know that Michigan cheated in both 2021 and 2022. 2023 is the only valid victory that Michigan has over the Buckeyes, and it was inexcusable.

This just adds more fuel to the fire for the Buckeyes. They shouldn't need any more motivation to beat TTUN, but it can't hurt to have more. Michigan's roster isn't going to be nearly as talented as Ohio State's and the coaching staff has lost most of their good coaches.

Unfortunately, McCarthy is allowed to talk trash. When his team is on top of the rivalry, he's allowed to do so. Michigan is still going to get hit with sanctions soon coming from recruiting violations during COVID-19. That's not even including the punishment forthcoming for the Cheating scandal.

A Buckeyes win would just shut everyone up.
