Everyone knows that the Ohio State football team underachieved last season. They fell to Michigan in the final game of the season for the third consecutive season. After that, they got embarrassed by Missouri in the Cotton Bowl. It was a bad way for 2023 to end.

Kyle McCord was not guaranteed the starting job after the regular season was over, so he entered the transfer portal before the bowl game. He's now at Syracuse and is the leader to take that starting quarterback job for the Orange. The Buckeyes have moved on.

A lot of Ohio State football fans blame the Michigan game on Kyle McCord. It was by far his worst game as a starter. He threw two picks, including one as the Buckeyes were trying to drive down for a game-winning touchdown. It seems OSU fans aren't the only ones throwing shade at McCord.

On Tuesday night's episode of Hard Knocks, the Giants had Marvin Harrison Jr. in for an interview. They talked with him and watched some film with him. Let's just say the Giants' coaching staff wasn't exactly in awe of what McCord is as a player. Take a look at the clip below. (Warning: there is some strong language)

As you can see, the Giants think McCord was not a very good quarterback for Harrison Jr. Some of the throws that they saw were not impressive. Ohio State fans certainly are aware of that. McCord is the worst quarterback the Buckeyes have had in the last few years.

Harrison Jr. did not want to throw his former teammate under the bus. You can hear him say that he would rather blame himself than blame a quarterback's throw. As a teammate, that's exactly what you should do. Harrison Jr. had the perfect response when the coaches said that.

I'm not sure McCord was expecting to get insulted by the Giants when he woke up on Tuesday. Yet, it happened. Both the Buckeyes and McCord are looking to move on from last season though.
