Former Ohio State football inducted into Ohio State athletics Hall of Fame

One of my favorite Ohio State football players of all time is Braxton Miller. The way he affected the game every snap was electrifying. You didn't know if he was going to spin by a guy on a quarterback keeper or do a play-action shot deep for a touchdown. He was a great offensive player.
It's too bad that he was never able to be a quarterback after the 2013 season. After he got hurt in the Orange Bowl, his shoulder was never the same. As we all remember, he hurt his shoulder on a routine pass two weeks before the season and he never threw a pass again. The Buckeyes had to win the 2014 national championship without him.
Miller ended up missing the entire 2014 season. He came back in 2015 as a wide receiver instead of a quarterback. He was impactful in his first game of the season against Virginia Tech. After that, he wasn't quite the weapon he was but that was mainly because Urban Meyer didn't try to draw up plays for him.
All of his hard work has paid off. Miller announced on social media that he has been inducted into the Ohio State Athletics Hall of Fame for the 2024 class. It's an award that he is certainly worthy of. He's an all-time great Buckeye and I'm happy that he gets this award.
Miller is the ultimate Buckeye. He's from Huber Heights and decided to stay in-state to play at Ohio State. He has been involved in alumni events since leaving the Buckeyes. While his pro career didn't quite work out as he'd hoped, people in Columbus will always love him.
The only other player who has come to Ohio State since Miller left who can rival his skills is Justin Fields. That's it. He set a new standard of dual-threat quarterback play.
