Ohio State needs to perform well in the Big Ten Tournament. Plain and simple.

After finishing the regular season at 19-12, the Buckeyes have yet to punch their ticket to the NCAA Tournament and run the risk of being bumped to the NIT.

With each tournament champion receiving an automatic bid to the Big Dance, the conference tourney is OSU’s last chance to go dancing.

The Buckeyes had a bye in the first round after earning the No. 10 seed in the conference. They will start their (hopefully long) tournament run against Iowa.
