August has turned into a big recruiting month for the Ohio State football team

The Ohio State football team has the best recruiting class in the country. They are looking to finish it strong and August has become the most important month to do that.

The Ohio State football team has the best recruiting class in the country. After getting yet another five-star recruit on Saturday, the Buckeyes now have 23 recruits for the 2025 recruiting class. They just keep getting better despite having some small losses along the way.

For how good this recruiting class already is, it can get even better. The Buckeyes can still add a couple of five-star recruits to this class in the month of August. August has suddenly become the most important recruiting month left for the Buckeyes.

David Sanders Jr. has set his commitment date for August. He will commit on August 17th and he has Ohio State in his final list of schools. Wide receiver Jaime Ffrench also will be committing in August, but it won't be until the end of the month. Both of those recruits are five-star prospects.

Suddenly, the Buckeyes have a real shot to land six five-star recruits in a single recruiting class. Those are the two recruits that are at the top of their list. Getting both of those guys would be the perfect cherry on top of what is already a phenomenal recruiting class.

The Ohio State football program doesn't have too many spots left in this class. I don't see them taking more than 27 kids. They'll keep spots open for these two guys in August if they think they have a real shot to land them. A couple of players could commit to them before then.

Once August is over, the 2025 recruiting class is pretty much wrapped up. It's interesting how the Buckeyes were able to do that this year. They won't have too much stress around Signing Day except keeping the guys who are already committed until they can sign their Letters of Intent.

I can't wait to see how the Buckeyes are able to finish out this recruiting class.
