The Ohio State football program has gotten its teeth kicked in against Michigan in each of the last four years. They have lost each of the last four matchups. This past one was worse than each of the previous three because of how bad the roster the Wolverines have.
One of the biggest reasons why the Ohio State Buckeyes haven't been able to win any of these games is because they haven't handled Michigan's defensive line. The run game hasn't been good enough to run around, or through, the defensive line of TTUN.
For the last three years, Mason Graham has been Michigan's best interior defensive lineman. He is projected to be a first-round pick in the NFL Draft. He declared for the 2025 NFL Draft on Saturday. In his statement, he took a pretty big shot at the Ohio State football program.

In his declaration on social media, Graham specifically mentions how happy he is to have beaten Ohio State.

The quote of him saying "slapping around" is what hurts the most. Quite frankly, that's exactly what TTUN has done to the Buckeyes in each of the last four years. There's no excuse for it, and Ohio State just has to take it. That's what makes it so frustrating to have them lose this game yet again.
We've talked at length about how the class of 2021 went winless against TTUN. The class of 2022 looks like they might be on that track, too, if Ryan Day stays. Something has to change because this can't keep happening, The Buckeyes have to win this game next season.
Ohio State is busy preparing for the first round of the College Football Playoff. They can still win a national championship. What they can't do is beat Michigan.
