One Ohio State football player isn't worried about his worst game
By Ryan Stano
So far this season, the Ohio State football team has lost just one game. The Buckeyes fell to Oregon by just one point on the road. It was a game that they could have won, but the team as a whole didn't play their best game. That was especially true of the defense.
The defense was supposed to be elite. Instead, they got cooked for 496 yards and 32 points. One player in particular had perhaps the roughest game of his career. That was cornerback Denzel Burke. Burke was constantly burned for big plays and he had multiple touchdowns scored on him.
For Burke, it was perhaps the worst game he'd played since the last time he played Oregon as a freshman. Over the past two weeks, he's played much better. The defense as a whole has been a lot better. Burke isn't letting that Oregon game bother him and he told the media as such.

While speaking to the media this week, Burke made it known that he has put that awful performance in Eugene behind him.
When you're a cornerback with the ability that Burke has, you're going to be going against a number-one receiver a lot of the time. You're going to get burned sometimes. The key is to not lose confidence in yourself. Burke clearly hasn't done that.
Burke is going to need to play a lot better if the Buckeyes do indeed see the Ducks again. The defense in general has had an overhaul since that game. After shutting down Penn State, they look like the defense that everyone thought they were going to be to start the season.
The next couple of weeks won't give the Ohio State Buckeyes much of a test. That's fine. They just need to keep the momentum from last week rolling as much as they can.
