The Ohio State football team has most of its players involved in the new EA Sports college football video game. Most of them were in last year's version of the game, which was the first time that the game had returned in over a decade. It was a wild success.
This year, the Ohio State Buckeyes once again have most of their players involved in the video game. Last year, there was a big exception when it came to J.T. Tuimoloau. He opted out of the game because he wasn't pleased with whatever NIL compensation was given to him.
This season, the Buckeyes don't have Devin Sanchez involved in EA Sports College Football 26. The true freshman cornerback becomes one of the more prominent players to not appear in the game. At this point, it is unclear as to why he isn't in the game right now.
Ohio State football player Devin Sanchez is not in College Football 26
Ohio State is already rated as one of the best teams in the game, which makes sense, considering they are the defending national champions. They have earned the right to be one of the highest-rated teams in the game, as they start out as the third-best team in the game.
There's a good chance that the Buckeyes will be rated higher than that when the preseason polls come out for the regular season later this month. They have the best offensive player in college football and the best player on defense, as well. That's good enough to make them national title contenders again.
There is very little chance that Sanchez ends up in the game in a later update. That wasn't the case for Tuimoloau last season. Sanchez will probably stay out of the game, just as Tuimoloau stayed out of College Football 25.
