The Ohio State football team dominated Wisconsin on Saturday, winning the game 34-0. It was a game they dominated from start to finish, rushing out to a 17-0 lead. After that, it seemed like the Buckeyes took their foot off the gas. They cruised to an easy win over a bad Badgers team.

Jeremiah Smith had a solid game even though he was held out of the end zone. He finished the game with nine catches for 97 yards. He drew a ton of attention to himself, allowing Carnell Tate to have another monster game. Smith's gravitational pull is undeniable.

After the game, Smith was interviewed by CBS Sports. He was asked about how this team compares to last year's national championship team, which really got going at the end of the year. His answer should terrify the rest of the teams in college football.

Ohio State receiver Jeremiah Smith believes this year's team is better than last year

Smith believes that this year's version of the Ohio State Buckeyes is even better than the one that won last season. He said that to former Buckeye running back Beanie Wells, who asked him the question.

"This year, we want to make a name for ourselves. We want to go down in the history books as a team that did it back-to-back. I feel like this team is better than last year's team. That's what I feel."

When you look at the results on the field, it's hard to argue with Smith, especially with what the defense has done. The defense continues to be elite, pitching yet another shutout. They still haven't allowed a first-half touchdown in any game this season.

This statement from Smith should terrify the rest of the country because the offense still isn't clicking on all cylinders. They still haven't figured out the kinks in the red zone with this new offense, nor has the running game reached an elite level. The passing game showed how good it can be in this game.

If Ohio State can fix the red zone problems and have its special teams be just average, it's going to be borderline impossible for anyone to take them down. The rest of the schedule sets up pretty easily for the Buckeyes, as well.

Only the final game against TTUN is one that could trip them up. The next month will be about preparing for that game.
