There is no bigger game in a season for either Ohio State or Michigan than the one that ends the regular season. That is when the rivalry gets to be put to the test yet again, and the Buckeyes and Wolverines get to settle things on the field.
Michigan has beaten Ohio State in four straight games, including a big one last season that knocked Ohio State out of the Big Ten title game. However, the Buckeyes ultimately got the last laugh by being in the College Football Playoff and winning a National Championship.
The matchup between Ohio State and Michigan is shaping up to be yet another great one this season, but things just got a lot harder for the Wolverines on the offensive side of the ball.

Ohio State and Michigan will both be playing new quarterbacks and running backs in this game, as the Wolverines got the transfer from Justice Haynes at the end of the last season, and Ohio State sent TreVeyon Henderson and Quinshon Judkins to the NFL.
Haynes has been struggling with a foot injury for a few weeks, but it is now official that he is done for the season after opting to have surgery. While there was hope he would return for the game against the Buckeyes, the Wolverines will now be without one of their best players.
While no one ever wishes for injuries on another player, even in rivalry games, not having to worry about Haynes on the field just made Ohio State's life on defense for this game a lot easier. Now, the Buckeyes will still have to be ready for this game as the Wolverines have shown that even when they are down, they can pull it together to win this rivalry matchup.
Ohio State and Michigan are set to square off on Saturday, November 29, at Noon EST in the Big House in Ann Arbor.
