The Ohio State football team would not have won the national championship without Jack Sawyer. Sawyer made one of the greatest plays in Ohio State football history when he caused a sack-fumble on Quinn Ewers and returned it for a touchdown to seal the Cotton Bowl.

Sawyer was also loved for what he did in the loss against TTUN. He made sure that Michigan was not going to plant the flag on their field and made sure to do something about it. For that moment alone, he was an Ohio State legend. Now, he has one of the greatest moments of all time.

The Steelers took him in the fourth round, one pick after Lathan Ransom was selected. Sawyer is versatile enough that he can drop back to linebacker in their 3-4 scheme or put on some weight to play opposite of Cam Heyward on the defensive end spot.

Ohio State football player Jack Sawyer gives the Steelers what they need

Sawyer is as tough a player as they come. That's exactly what the Steelers are all about. Pittsburgh plays a physical brand of football and loves guys who can live up to that billing. That's exactly what Sawyer does. He gives 100% on every play he's on the field.

Not only does he give maximum effort, but he can make game-altering plays. That's something that the Steelers are looking for on defense. Right now, only T.J. Watt is able to do that from the front seven. Now, Sawyer has a shot to do that for them.

Jack Sawyer is going to be a good NFL player. He might not be a superstar, but he is going to make big plays when he's needed the most. He's someone who will always be in the right spot at the right time.
