Ohio State football vs. Purdue weather forecast
By Ryan Stano
The Ohio State football team is riding high off a big win against Penn State. Normally, you'd have to worry about a letdown in the next game. Ryan Day has made a concerted effort to say that his team has to leave the win behind them and keep marching forward.
Fortunately, the Ohio State Buckeyes get one of the worst teams in the country this week. Purdue is just 1-7 and doesn't have a win over an FBS team this season. Ohio State can likely play their C-game and still win by three scores. That's how much more talented they are than the Boilermakers.
One thing that could help Purdue would be some bad weather for this game. The Buckeyes have gotten pretty lucky so far this year in terms of the weather for their games. They haven't even had to play a cold weather game yet this season either. Will the weather change on Saturday?
Ohio State football vs. Purdue weather forecast
According to the Weather Channel, the Boilermakers will not get their wish. It should be another good day for football. Around kickoff at noon, it will be 56 degrees and sunny. Those are the perfect conditions to play a football game in. Wind also won't be a factor, as it will only blow 4-8 mph.
Purdue won't get what they are hoping for in terms of the weather. It's another game that the Buckeyes will have perfect weather conditions as well. That means the offense should operate smoothly because we know Purdue's defense won't offer much resistance.
Next week might not be the same story for the Buckeyes. They have to travel up to Wrigley Field to play Northwestern. The weather is always iffy up there this time of year, so they'll just have to enjoy the nice weather that they have this week.
