The Ohio State football team has had some injury issues this season. While nothing has been too major, the Buckeyes have had to sit some guys out with injuries. Donovan Jackson missed the first couple of games. Cody Simon missed the opener. Carnell Tate was held out of last week out of an abundance of caution.

This would be a bad week for the Ohio State Buckeyes to have some injury problems. Taking on Oregon is going to be hard enough without some injury problems. They need everyone as healthy as they can be for this top-five showdown in Autzen Stadium on Saturday night.

The good news is that every scholarship player is available for the Ohio State football team. They have no injuries to be concerned with as they come into this matchup. That means Carnell Tate will be back and ready to go for this game. He's still really good despite the other two Buckeyes getting a lot of the hype. Oregon is not so lucky.

Oregon might be missing their best defensive player vs. the Ohio State football team

According to ESPN's Pete Thamel, Oregon defensive end Jordan Burch might miss the game due to a lower-body injury. It was described as a non-contact injury, which doesn't sound good. Burch got hurt in practice earlier this week, and now his status for this game is up in the air.

If the Ducks don't have Burch, that would be a massive blow for them. He leads Oregon in both pressures and sacks up front. If they can't get pressure on Will Howard, that's going to be a massive problem for them. It seems like he will be a game-time decision.

It's good that the Buckeyes are fully healthy. If they lose to the Ducks, it's only because Oregon is the better team.
