Ohio State football vs. Nebraska final odds and prediction
By Ryan Stano
The Ohio State football team is ready to take on Nebraska today. It's a game that they have been looking forward to for a couple of weeks now. They are ready to get that sour taste of the Oregon game out of their mouths and the Cornhuskers are the unfortunate victims.
Ohio State played some of the worst defense they've played in the last three years against Oregon. They couldn't stop anyone. They allowed 496 yards and 32 points and neither of those stats was close to happening at any other point this season. Ohio State wants to make sure it doesn't happen again.
Nebraska comes into this game with a host of issues on offense. They scored just seven points and Dylan Raiola threw three interceptions against Indiana. On defense, they allowed 56 points to the Hoosiers. Will the be able to play any better against the Buckeyes?
Ohio State football vs. Nebraska final odds and prediction
I fully expect the Ohio State Buckeyes to play well on offense in this game. Will Howard should be able to carve through the Cornhuskers' secondary without too many problems. On the ground, I expect the Buckeyes to be able to control the tempo and break off some big runs too.
Defensively, I expect the Buckeyes to be able to keep Nebraska under control. Raiola is going into a hostile environment with a lot of fans who don't like him. I'm not sure he's up for that. The defense should be able to get pressure on him and force him to make bad decisions.
Prediction: Ohio State football 45 Nebraska 7
I don't expect this game to be close at any point. I think Ryan Day will be able to get the backups out there in the fourth quarter to get some reps. The Buckeyes should be able to come out of this game with a win.
Ohio State should be able to get back on track. Let's hope they do it without accumulating any injuries.
