Ohio State football vs. Indiana weather forecast
By Ryan Stano
The Ohio State football team is gearing up for another matchup against a top-five team. Indiana comes to town looking for an upset. The Ohio State Buckeyes are hoping to keep their hopes alive for a Big Ten Championship. Winning this game is a must in order to do that.
So far this season, the Buckeyes are 1-1 in top-five games. Ohio State has some adversity to face in this one though after losing Seth McLaughlin for the season. Another offensive line reshuffle will make it tough for them to play well offensively early in this game.
The weather has not been a factor in any Ohio State football game so far this year. They have gotten extremely lucky with the conditions so far. That luck will come to an end this weekend, although there won't be any precipitation to deal with in this game.
Ohio State football vs. Indiana weather forecast
According to the Weather Channel, it's going to be a cold one. The temperature at kickoff will be 47 degrees, but it will feel like 37 because of the wind chill. The wind will be a factor early in the game, blowing at 10-12 mph and gusting up to 22 mph. Ohio State needs to be ready for that in the kicking game.
I wouldn't say that the weather will play too much of a factor in the outcome of this game, but it's worth noting that conditions aren't perfect for the first time this season. Those gusty winds could be an issue on some field goal attempts in this game for both teams as well.
Overall, the game should be decided by the players on the field. Whichever team is best will win the contest, even without the help of the weather. Both offenses are happy about that.
