For years, Ohio State football fans have been begging for a major uniform change. It has been quite a while since the Buckeyes have had gray sleeves on the uniform. It's a classic look that long-time fans have been looking for them to bring back. It just looks sleek.

During the Spring Game, the Ohio State Buckeyes wore uniforms with gray sleeves on them. That gave fans some hope that perhaps the Buckeyes would put that on their uniform when the Fall rolls around. That's when it really matters, especially when more fans are in the stands.

It's something that seems to be an easy fix, considering it's not an entirely new uniform. Yet, Ohio State has refused to bring them back on a full-time basis. On Sunday, Ohio State teased a major uniform announcement that will happen early Monday. Could it be bringing back the gray sleeves?

On social media, the Buckeyes teased that a major uniform announcement would be coming. They also teased it would happen at 6:14 pm, presumably a nod to the fact that Columbus' area code is 614.

With Ohio State having one of the most iconic uniforms in the history of college football, there is almost no shot that an entire uniform overhaul is coming. The only possible logical explanation is the addition of gray sleeves. That is also the simplest addition that the uniform could have.

Bringing back the gray sleeves would pretty much make Ohio State's uniforms perfect. That was the last bit of color that they were missing. Imagine watching Jeremiah Smith run past defenders with gray sleeves on his way to scoring a touchdown? It would be fantastic to see.

Of course, the uniform doesn't mean a ton if the team in it isn't winning games. Ohio State is expected to be one of the favorites to win it all this season. Winning it all with a classic uniform would certainly make another title sweeter.
