The Ohio State football team has mostly moved on from winning the national championship. Not only have they already had their Spring Game, but they are completely done with Spring practice. They already have a new team and a new roster as they head into a season trying to defend their title.
Despite this, the team continues to be honored wherever they go. The team has been getting a lot of celebrations, and it has been well-deserved. The Buckeyes completed the best four-game run in the history of the sport in order to win the national championship.
Some members of the Ohio State Buckeyes were honored again over the weekend during the NBA playoffs. The Cleveland Cavaliers are one of the best teams in the playoffs, and they are fighting to win an NBA title. Some Buckeyes were at the game and they were honored on the video board.

During the Cavaliers' game, some members of the national championship team were brought to the court so they could be honored. As expected, the crowd gave them a pretty loud cheer when they were introduced during a timeout.

Ohio State is not just loved in central Ohio, but they are loved throughout the entire state. The Buckeyes continue to get the praise that they should, and likely will until the middle of the summer. That's when practice starts again for next season and then the championship will be put in the rear-view mirror.
If things go well, the state of Ohio will be celebrating another championship with the Cavs winning it all. At that time, perhaps the Buckeyes will be honoring the Cavaliers in the Shoe this Fall just as they honored their team during the playoffs. Either way, it was a cool moment to see.
