Florida has fired Billy Napier and that means that there's a good chance the Gators' top-15 recruiting class will have some attrition.
Ohio State already has a top-10 class with 23 commitments, but you have to think the Buckeyes staff is keeping both eyes open on the situation in Gainesville to see if there are some prospects that might be wavering and if that's the case, could they be interested in heading north to Columbus
1) 4-star EDGE K.J. Ford
Ford might be the most coveted member of the Gators recruiting class should he decide to open things up again. Everyone needs a top-end pass rusher and the 6-foot-4, 240-pounder fits the bill as a guy that can be a stand-up rusher or put his hand in the ground as a traditional defensive end. You know Matt Patricia would love to have a versatile player like Ford to unleash on opposing quarterbacks. Ford has already taken an official visit to Columbus and the Buckeyes made his final group along with Florida, Alabama and Texas A&M. There's no doubt that Ohio State will be interested if the staff can get another shot at Ford.

2) 4-star DL Kendall Guervil
Anytime a high-end interior defensive lineman could be back on the market, all the big schools are going to be interested. Guervil is that guy and he has legitimate NFL upside. Ohio State might have to do some work here, as Texas and Georgia would likely be the schools to beat if Guervil were to open things up again. But expect the Buckeyes staff to at least reach out and gauge interest.
3) 4-star RB Carsyn Baker
Ohio State offered Baker, a 6-foot, 200-pound back from the Atlanta area, last summer, and he has the kind of speed/power combination that fits well in the Buckeyes' offense. Baker has only taken official visits to Florida and FSU, so there is a possibility that he could have widespread interest if he opens up his recruitment.
