The Ohio State football team will be sending players to Las Vegas for Big Ten Media Day this year. For the first time, that is where Media Day is. Last year it was in Indy, which is where it has been several years in the past. This year, it will be closer to the West Coast Big Ten teams.

Every year, the Buckeyes send out representatives to talk to the media about the upcoming season. Most years, it's the older players who get the honor to head into Media Day. A lot of the best players are also sent out there because that's who fans want to hear from.

This year, the Ohio State Buckeyes have decided on who they are going to send to Vegas for Media Day. Three players have been revealed to be speaking to the media in Las Vegas, including two of the best players in all of college football and a great senior leader.

The Ohio State football team reveals who will be speaking during Media Day

One of the players heading out to Vegas will be sophomore receiver Jeremiah Smith. Smith is the best receiver in college football and might be the best overall player. Despite his young age, he deserves this honor because of how talented he is.

Caleb Downs will also be joining him. Downs is perhaps the best safety in college football and might be the best defensive player in college football. He is one of the big reasons why the Buckeyes feel good about their defense not dropping off when it comes to a high standard of play.

Sonny Styles will also be taking part in Media Day. Styles is a senior leader at the linebacker spot and is one of the best players the Buckeyes have on defense. He has earned the right to speak at Media Day after switching positions in order to make room for Downs.

These three players are the best players that Ohio State has on its roster for this season. It will be interesting to hear what they have to say next month in Las Vegas.
