Early Signing Day has gone well for the Ohio State football team so far. A lot of their expected recruits have signed with the team so far. They haven't had anyone flip quite yet. They have all of their important recruits already signed, sealed, and deliverd.

In addition to signing all of the recruits that have committed to them already, the Ohio State Buckeyes are looking to flip a few recruits from other schools. They were able to get their first flip on Wednesday morning by taking a four-star recruit away from Alabama.

Anthony Rogers, a four-star running back from the state of Alabama, has flipped his commitment from the Tide to the Buckeyes. Rogers has been rumored to be flipping for a while, but it's nice to see that the Buckeyes have officially flipped him. Ohio State needed him.

Rogers stands at 5'8 and 190 pounds. He's someone with a low pad level who can run up the middle with some power. Running up the middle is something the Buckeyes have struggled with in recent years, mostly because of a poor offensive line. Rogers doesn't help the O-line issue, but he's a solid runner.

Rogers isn't the only recruit that Ohio State is hoping to flip on Signing Day. They are hoping to land a defensive lineman and a big-time offensive lineman as well. There are a couple of recruits on their side who are targets for other programs to flip as well, so they need to work hard to keep them.

As far as Rogers is concerned, he gives Ohio State some needed depth at the running back position. They need more guys who can get carries so they don't have to rely on just Quinshon Judkins next season as the only back. James Peoples will get some carries too.
