The Ohio State football team is preparing to take on Notre Dame in the National Championship Game. It's a game that they feel very confident coming into. They are one of the hottest teams to come into a National Championship Game in quite a while.

They know that this game is not going to be easy to win, though. Notre Dame has a really good defense and has been beating teams that many thought were more talented than them on their way to this final game. It should be a great final game of the 2024 season.

Ahead of the game, players were made available to the media. Plenty of them talked about what the final game of the season means. While they did so, ESPN went around and gave players from both teams a test of strength. A Buckeye player won and showed just how strong he is.

ESPN went around and got a bunch of Ohio State football and Notre Dame players to test their grip strength. A few players had some strong grips, but no one had a stronger grip than defensive lineman Ty Hamilton, who had a whopping 200 pounds of grip strength.

Hamilton showed what makes him so good as a defensive tackle. He uses that grip strength to shed blockers and either get to the quarterback or stop the run up the middle. He's one of the guys who has really stepped up his game during this run through the CFP.

The Buckeyes are certainly glad that he is on their side in this matchup. Stopping the run is going to be key for Ohio State's defense if they want to win this game. They are going to try to make Notre Dame beat them through the air.

The Buckeyes have several strong guys on both sides of the ball on their roster. This video proves that.
