The Ohio State football team wouldn't have won the national championship in 2024 without TreVeyon Henderson. He had some huge plays at running back, specifically in the CFP games against Tennessee, Oregon, and Texas. He was one of the most dynamic running backs in the country.

Surprisingly, Henderson ended up slipping until the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft. He even slipped behind his teammate, Quinshon Judkins. Judkins was taken 36th overall by the Browns, while Henderson was taken two picks later at 38.

Judkins hasn't been able to participate in training camp due to some legal issues, as well as not signing his rookie contract. Meanwhile, Henderson is already turning heads in New England with what he's been able to do in training camp, especially in the passing game.

Henderson showed off his skills when it comes to catching the ball out of the backfield.

There's a chance that Henderson could end up being the best running back in this class when everything is all said and done. He's always had the big-play potential, but the Patriots are just now getting to see everything that he can do in their offense with Drake Maye at quarterback.

Henderson is a very good receiver and a fantastic pass blocker. Not only that, but he was one of the hardest workers with the Ohio State Buckeyes. Henderson is taking all of that hard work and talent to New England. There's a very good chance that Henderson ends up being their best offensive player in a few years.

Of course, the biggest issue that Henderson had in his career with the Buckeyes was that he couldn't stay healthy. He had a few injuries, including some knee injuries and a concussion. He also had an ankle problem that caused him to miss a few games.

Staying healthy will be the key to his being a possible Pro Bowl-caliber player. Right now, Henderson is just focused on doing the best that he can during training camp while he learns a new offense.
