Ohio State got its ninth win of the season, starting 9-0 for the first time since 2019, and this team certainly is humming right now. Head coach Ryan Day has been working hard both on and off the field, especially on the recruiting trail, and just might get another win before the Buckeyes even take the field this weekend.
Ohio State played the Tennessee Volunteers last season, and that team thought they could walk into the Horseshoe and show up the Buckeyes. Instead, Ohio State reminded Tennessee who they are, and Day is doing that again this season with Volunteers commit Legend Bey.

Day has been working hard to continue to build the Class of 2026, and being able to flip Bey would be the icing on the cake. Bey is listed as a four-star athlete by 247Sports Composite and is ranked the No. 361 player in the Class of 2026, the No. 24 in his class, and the No. 47 player in the state of Texas.
It is known that Bey prefers to play wide receiver in college, but he is such a versatile player that any team could play him at nearly any position on the offense. Bey committed to Tennessee back in late June after an official visit with the Volunteers, but a visit to Ohio State last week, when the Buckeyes defeated Penn State, began to stir rumors of a flip.
The Buckeyes are not the only ones sniffing around Bey, as Texas just offered the four-star Texas native last week to add another team in the mix.
If Bey were to flip his commitment to Ohio State, it would be the 13th four-star recruit for Day, potentially moving Ohio State's ranking up from No. 7 to somewhere even higher.
