Michigan cheated against the Ohio State football program. That is an indisputable fact, and one that the NCAA has been determining the severity of. In both 2022 and 2023, there was evidence that TTUN cheated in portions of those seasons. It could go back even further than that.

Connor Stalions was involved in an illegal advanced scouting operation that stole signs from opposing teams. He claims, as other coaches have, that he is some sort of lone wolf type. TTUN fans claim that no coaches had any knowledge of how he was gaining his advantages.

After two years of investigating, the NCAA is finally about to release its punishment for TTUN's transgressions. Michigan has already self-imposed a punishment by suspending Sherrone Moore for two games, which are non-consecutive. Things might get a lot worse for them.

According to ESPN's Pete Thamel, the public will learn what the findings and the punishment are for this case on Friday.

The Buckeyes had to deal with Michigan's cheating in multiple games, as did other Big Ten teams. It's only fair that the NCAA makes sure this kind of thing can never happen again. They should send a clear message by doling out severe punishments for TTUN.

Unfortunately, it's unlikely that they will take away the national championship that they won. It's also unlikely that TTUN will receive a bowl ban. They are likely to vacate some victories from those seasons, Moore will get a lengthy suspension, and there will likely be a reduction in scholarships.

Michigan is a repeat offender, so that gives some fans of the Ohio State Buckeyes hope that the hammer will drop on them. Jim Harbaugh will never coach in college again because of the multiple transgressions that he has committed while being the head coach of TTUN.

It's good that the NCAA will finally wrap this up before the 2025 season starts. Punishments could have gotten a bit messy if they had waited to release everything during the year, especially with TTUN ranked in the top 15 in the polls. Now, everyone will get to know the true scope of things and how much TTUN cheated.

Ohio State football fans should expect some disappointment with the severity of the punishment, but that will never stop them from putting an asterisk on that 2023 season forever. That's something TTUN can never wash away, no matter how much they try.
