Ohio State was able to take down Maryland without too many issues on Saturday, winning the game 45-16. Despite the win, it was one of the sloppiest performances of the year. However, the Buckeyes were down five starters, so that played a factor in why it wasn't crisp.
Now that the game is over, Ohio State can finally look forward to what will be a top-10 showdown. The Buckeyes travel to play what will be their toughest game in the Big Ten portion of the schedule as they head to Indiana. Defensive lineman Eddrick Houston sent a warning to the Hoosiers ahead of the matchup.

After losing to the Hoosiers in last year's Big Ten Championship, the Buckeyes have revenge on their mind. Houston made that clear immediately after taking down the Terrapins.
“They took something from us that we really wanted. That was one of our goals last year, and they took it from us. So it's time to go to their place and handle business.”
When asked about what the Ohio State Buckeyes need to do differently in order to get a victory this time around, Houston said it's pretty simple.
"Do our job. There's no need to go out of our way to try to make plays that might just come to us. We need to just do our job, follow the game plan, and play physical.
Since the collapse in Texas, the Buckeyes have looked like one of the best teams in the country. Meanwhile, the Hoosiers have struggled in each of the last two weeks to get victories. The last two games were the first time that Indiana has played good teams.
Houston knows that, and he and the rest of the Buckeyes are looking forward to taking down IU. Even though the Hoosiers struggled against Northwestern and Nebraska, it won't be easy to win in Bloomington. However, this is a game Ohio State has had circled for a long time.
Ohio State can finally focus on beating good teams this year
Maryland was the last breather that Ohio State had on the schedule. The second half of the schedule is absolutely brutal. After taking on the Hoosiers, the Scarlet and Gray have to play USC, Oregon, Northwestern, Nebraska, and TTUN. That is not an easy way to finish out the year.
Indiana is the best of those teams. Ohio State has to win this game if it is going to have a chance to win the Big Ten this year. That is always one of their goals heading into the season. The Hoosiers kept them from achieving that goal a year ago, and there is no doubt they will be motivated to do it again.
The winner of this game will be considered the favorite to come out of the Big Ten. They might even be considered the favorites to win the national championship after the chaos that happened over the weekend. Houston knows there is a lot on the line, and so does the rest of the team.
