Michigan will have key player back against the Ohio State football team

While he's a backup, the Buckeyes will need to have a game plan ready for him.

The Ohio State football team can finally turn its full attention to TTUN. After trouncing Rutgers 42-9, they are focused on the biggest game of the year. Everyone is aware that the Buckeyes have lost four straight games to Michigan, and this class of seniors has never earned a pair of gold pants.

Winning this game is something the Buckeyes have been focused on all year. They haven't lost in a year, and they have been on a war path ever since losing that game a year ago in Columbus. Ryan Day has built everything this season up to this game, since it was the source of such pain a year ago.

Ohio State is still trying to figure out if two of its best players will play in the game. Meanwhile, TTUN will have a key player back on the sidelines for them after he sat out on Saturday against Maryland. Sherrone Moore said they sat him as a precaution.

Jordan Marshall will play against the Ohio State football team

Backup running back Jordan Marshall will play against the Buckeyes, according to Michigan head coach Sherrone Moore. Moore mentioned in his postgame press conference that he could have played against the Terrapins if they really needed him, as well.

With Justice Haynes already out for the game, TTUN would have been in big trouble without Marshall in the backfield. The Ohio State Buckeyes recruited Marshall out of high school and chose TTUN, so this game is personal for him. Ohio State will force Bryce Underwood to beat them with his arm.

The Buckeyes have been waiting to play this game almost since they lost it last year. Quite frankly, they haven't been tested much since that game. Michigan will be missing a few key players, so that should help the Buckeyes. Still, they know it's more about them than it is about TTUN.

If Ohio State executes its game plan next week, it should walk out of the Big House undefeated and ready to play in the Big Ten Championship game against Indiana. Even more importantly, the Buckeyes will finally get some gold pants.
