Perhaps the most famous Ohio State football fan in the world is LeBron James. Had James been forced to go to college before the NBA, he would have played for the Buckeyes. As a kid from Akron, he grew up a Buckeye fan, as many kids do in the state of Ohio.
Over the years, James' presence with the Ohio State Buckeyes has been felt. He has gifted both the football and basketball programs with multiple perks. He loves giving to the program, and Ohio State loves the notoriety that he brings to the university.
As the Buckeyes prepare to host a reeling Penn State team in the Shoe, James has decided to gift the entire team a sick new pair of cleats. This isn't the first time that James has done this, as he gave the entire team some new LeBron James-branded cleats.
LeBron James gifts the Ohio State football team brand-new cleats
James made a video introducing the cleats, talking about how much Ohio State means to him.
"Ohio State means a lot to me. If you've followed my journey, I'm a big-time football fan. I played football all the way through high school. It's always been fulfilling to me and an honor for me to be able to give back. So when THE Ohio State Buckeyes play Penn State, I've got a special gift for ya'll."

Those are some pretty awesome cleats. They are sleek, stylish, and they will certainly be functional for the team as they try to keep Penn State's misery going. While this game won't be as good as it was hyped up to be before the season started, it's still going to be a game that Ohio State looks to dominate.
If Ohio State wins this game, it won't have any other major tests on its schedule until The Game at the end of the season. That's going to be the final test for Ryan Day after he's gone on this incredible string of wins dating back to last year's crushing loss to TTUN.
Perhaps James will give the Buckeyes something else before that matchup, too.
