The crew at Saturday Blitz has dropped another NFL Mock Draft and, of course, it's loaded with Buckeyes.
This mock has three Ohio State players in the top ten with linebacker Arvell Reese going to the New York Jets at No. 5, safety Caleb Downs going to the Las Vegas Raiders at No. 9 and Carnell Tate being selected by the Arizona Cardinals at No. 10.
A new Buckeyes duo in the desert
With Tate projected to go tenth to the Cardinals, he would be teaming up with former Buckeye Marvin Harrison Jr. as part of a revamped passing attack. There is a good chance that the Cardinals could have a new quarterback going into the 2026 season if they can trade Kyler Murray.
Regardless of who the quarterback with the Cardinals is next season, if Arizona decides to draft Tate, it will add another dimension to the offense. Tate was on pace to have a 1,000-yard season before an undisclosed injury forced him to miss the past two games. The junior has 39 catches for 711 yards and seven touchdowns. Tate's 18.2 yards per catch is the best on the Buckeyes.
I’ve scarcely seen a WR as good as Carnell Tate is at these two things:

- Stemming DBs on the vertical plane
- Converting on under-thrown balls that re-enter DB range
His reliability can be quantified as elite. Such a savvy, sound player.

Harrison Jr. has shown signs of stardom with the Cardinals, but hasn't had the breakout period expected by now. Part of that is chemistry issues with Murray. Since veteran Jacoby Brissett has taken over the quarterback spot, Harrison Jr. has become one of the most targeted receivers in the league. Through nine games this season, Harrison Jr. has 34 catches for 525 yards and four touchdowns.
More Buckeyes are mocked in the first round
Obviously, there is going to be a lot of fanfare around All-American players like Downs and Reese, but there are going to be Buckeyes all through the draft and two more are projected to go in the bottom of the first round.
Cornerback Davison Igbinosun is also projected to go to the Jets and No, 28 as that franchise continues to load up on Ohio State talent. And defensive tackle Kayden McDonald is projected to be the last pick in the round, going at No. 32 to the Denver Broncos.
