In his rush to drag Ohio State, Dave Portnoy has selective amnesia

Michigan's most annoying super fan is trying to kick the Buckeyes while they are down, but he clearly is forgetting a few things.

Ohio State fans and Michigan fans certainly do not get along, but if there is one Michigan fan that annoys Buckeyes fans the most, that is by far Barstool President Dave Portnoy.

With the Buckeyes losing in the Cotton Bowl to Miami, it makes sense that Portnoy would be trolling the Buckeyes, but he needs to make sure he gets his facts straight when he is going to do it. After the game ended and the Buckeyes were not on the winning end of it, Portboy went straight to social media.

His post, of course, was about Ohio State not winning, but there were a couple of things that were factually wrong, and it just makes him look like a fool in all of this.

Dave Portnoy should fact check his Ohio State troll posts before hitting send

In reality, Portnoy shouldn't be trolling Ohio State at all. It is not like Michigan made it into the College Football Playoff, or even beat the Buckeyes this season. However, that clearly didn't matter to Portnoy when crafting his post.

Portnoy's post can be seen below, and there are a couple of things wrong with it. First, he says that the Buckeyes haven't won the Big Ten in like 100 years, and Ohio State literally won the conference in 2020, which is now only six years ago. Second, Portnoy tries to say that the Buckeyes always lose the big games.

Should someone tell Portnoy that Ohio State literally won three games in order to get to the National Championship last season, and then won the biggest game of the season? If that isn't winning the big games, then someone please tell us what is.

Nice try, Portnoy, but your troll job this time just made you look like you don't know ball and against, where was Michigan throughout the playoff? Oh, right, sitting at home.
